In short: we collect what you type into our forms so we can reply, and we use Google Analytics to count visits and enquiries. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising profiles. Email info@craftedbytimeless.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Who we are
This website, craftedbytimeless.com, is run by Timeless International, NSSF Plaza (Kaloleni), Mezzanine Floor, Plot No. 130–132, Block 21, Arusha, Tanzania. We decide how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us at info@craftedbytimeless.com or +255 767 663 909.
We handle personal data in line with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. If you write to us from another country, we apply the same standard to your data.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your phone number and company. We use them to reply and, if you become a client, to run the project. The details are emailed to our team, and we send you an automatic confirmation email.
When you plan a project or ask about a package
The project planner and package enquiry forms ask for your name, email, message, and optionally your phone, company, budget, timeline and the services you are interested in. We use them to prepare a proposal and follow up. They are stored as an enquiry in our internal system and emailed to our team.
The planner can offer an automatic price estimate. When that feature is switched on, the services you pick and the project description you type are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce the estimate. Do not put confidential information in that description.
When you subscribe to updates
We store the email address you give us so we can send occasional updates. Every message lets you unsubscribe, or you can email us.
When you click to call, email or WhatsApp us
Clicking our phone number, email address or WhatsApp link opens your own app. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply to that conversation.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and how many of them contact us. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) and records details such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We also record when someone clicks to call, email or WhatsApp us, and when a form is submitted, with only the form’s name (for example “contact”) attached. We do not send what you type into our forms to Google.
The site also sets two cookies it needs to work: a session cookie and a security token (XSRF-TOKEN) that protects forms against forgery. Neither is used for tracking.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site keeps working without analytics cookies.
Who else processes the data
- Our web hosting provider, which runs the servers this site and its database are on.
- Our email service, which delivers form notifications and confirmations.
- Google, for Google Analytics.
- Cloudflare, which stores and delivers images and files used on the site.
- Anthropic, only for the automatic price estimate described above, when it is enabled.
Some of these providers process data outside Tanzania. We use them only to run this website and our business, not to share your details for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply, deliver work and keep proper business records. Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe. If you ask us to delete your details and we have no legal or contractual reason to keep them, we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for updates. Email info@craftedbytimeless.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
